
Situated at Cubban Park, this is the second largest aquarium
in the country. You can find a great variety of edible as well as
cultivable variety of fish. The diamond shaped building has three
floors. The ground floor has the office and the laboratory. First
floor has 14 big tanks of cultivable fish. Second floor has both
large and small fishes kept in separate tanks exhibiting their
habitat.
Some of the fish that can be seen at the aquarium are catla,
mahseer, gold fish (including black moor), angel fish, blue gourami,
red tail shark, Indian tiger barb, glow light tetra, freshwater
prawns and of course the Siamese fighters.
Aquarium remains open for public viewing on all days of the week.
