The museum is situated 53 km on the Bangalore-Mysore highway.
The museum has intricately treasured the cultural heritage of the
city. Museum with an open air theater, studio and old structure
stand in an area of 15acres. There is a marvelous collection of
about 500 artifacts from the tribal communities of Karnataka.
Agricultural hunting and fishing implements, weapons, ingenious
household gadgets, masks, dolls and shadow puppets are the major
items on display.
