Day01/Arrive Bangalore
Assistance and transfer to Hotel. Evening free for roaming about in
the city.
Day02/Bangalore-Mysore
Breakfast and sightseeing tour of Bangalore. Visit to Lalbagh, one
of the finest botanical Gardens of India, Cubbon Park and Vidhana
Soudha. After day's visit, drive to Mysore in the afternoon.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day03/Mysore
Morning sightseeing tour to Mysore. The city long lived by warriors
like Tipu Sultan offers splendid Palaces and monuments which are
worth visiting. A visit to Mysore Paqlace and Durbar Hall.
Maharaja's Jwellery and studded gold throne is kept on diplay in the
hall during Dassera festival. Visit to Chamundeeswari Temple at the
top of Chamundi Hill. Nandi Temple, KRS dam and Brindavan Gardens.
Excursions to Somnathpur in the afternoon. The temples situated
here are rich in their architecture and draws every body's eyeballs.
Day04/Mysore-Nagarhole
2 hours drive and visit to Nagarhole Santuary. Experience a large
variety of animal life within lush plantations, river and cool
climate. Overnight stay at Lodge.
Day 05/Nagarhole
Day activities will include jeep and elephant safari, coracle ride,
nature walk, Camp fire dinner and possibly a cultural programme in
the evening.
Day 06/Nagarhole - Coorg (90 km)
A well maintained game sanctuaries in south India. Elephant,
spotted deer, sambar, bison, chital and jeep are mostly seen.
Elephant rides available for jungle safari. Orange County Resort
situated in the tiny hamlet of Siddapur, amidst 300 acres of coffee
and spice plantations, dotted with banana and coconut palms and
cosseted by River Cauvery on one side and Dubar Reserve forest on
the other is a perfect retreat for a nature holiday.
Day 07: Coorg
Besides nature, tribes, 20 km from Coorg is an Elephant Training
Center. 40 km from Coorg has the largest settlement of Tibetans in
South in a village.
Day 08/Coorg - Calicut (175 km)
Drive to Calicut and on arrival, check-in at Kadavu Resort. Built
in 10 acres of coconut groves among swaying graceful palms with
landscaped gardens, set right on the waterfront, Kadavu is one of
the best resorts for a quiet holiday. The resort is in the
backwaters in a breathtaking location by the banks of Chaliyar
River. Rest of the day at leisure to explore Calicut.
Day 09: Calicut - Munnar (160 km)
Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Largely blanketed by tea
plantations, this little hill resort offers breath-taking scenery.
The atmosphere is fragrant with extensive tea and cardamom
plantations. There are enchanting high ranges, lakes and streams and
lovely views of low flying clouds and mist filled valleys.
Day 10: Munnar - Periyar - 100 km
Drive to Periyar and check-in at the hotel. Afternoon boat cruise
on Lake Periyar. Experioence the rich wildlife and a variety of
species at Periyar. Apart from elephants and tigers, there are a
hyge number of snakes in the park Beware!
Day 11/Periyar - Kumarakom (135 km)
Check in at the hotel after a drive to Kumarakom. Rest here for a
day and enjoy the evening sunset at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 12/Kumarakom - Alleppey
Breakfast and boarding on Kerela House boat. The boat will cruise
through temple, church, village and snake boat construction yard.
Enjoy the overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 13/Alleppey - Cochin
Breakfast and drive to Cochin. Check in at the hotel and witness
Kathakali dance performance in the evening.
Day 14/Cochin
Morning sightseeing tour to Cochin including visit to Mattanchery
Palace, St. Francis Church, Wellington Island, Bolghatty Island,
Chinese Fishing nets and Jewish Synagogue. Cruising on the
back-waters provides glimpses of the rural life, fine view of the
harbor and three islands. Afternoon at leisure activities. Stay
overnight at the hotel.
Day 15/Cochin - Departure
Transfer to airport for flight to onward destination.
